In order for Finch to access data from HiBob, customers must create a HiBob “Service User” and then grant specific permissions to that user. (A Service User is simply a specific type of user that is created solely for integration or API use, and is distinct from human HiBob users.)

Permissions in HiBob are then managed and assigned to users via “Permission Groups”. Service Users and Permission groups are both found in the Settings menu of the HiBob application.
